There are a lot of talented people in the countries we hire from, both men and women. But in places like Venezuela, Uganda, and Nicaragua, where we hire heavily from, women have an even harder time than men do getting a good job.
We aggressively search out the smartest, most ambitious, & most talented women as a way of doing something about this gender gap, and about 65% of the remote professionals that we get placed with companies are female.
While we’ve expanded out to include other countries, 70% of our placements are Venezuelan.

On average, our hires earn between $1,000-$2,000/month working online for companies we place them with. While this may not sound like much in comparison to the wages paid in the US and elsewhere, this is life-changing incoming in the countries where they come from.
The majority also support several members of their family with the income they receive, making their work a key source of income for not just them but often for their parents & siblings as well.
To date, iWorker hires have generated over 20 million dollars in income for themselves and their families.
With nearly 80% of its population in extreme poverty, Venezuela is in crisis.
The local currency, the bolívar, is nearly worthless, eaten alive by inflation. More than half of the population goes hungry. Crime rates and homicide rates are some of the highest in the world.
As a result, some 20% of the Venezuelan population has fled, many with little more than a backpack & the shoes on their feet.
With 70% of our job placements being of Venezuelans, finding top talent in this country is a major focus of ours.
